Colleen Fern Kottong, age 89 of North Hudson passed away peacefully on Thursday evening August 22, 2024.
Colleen was born February 18, 1935 in Eveleth the daughter of Gordon & Mercilyn (Miller) Johnson. She graduated from Virginia High School in 1953 and was a proud graduate of Macalester, class of 1957. She worked at 3M and met Gerald, her husband of 56 years. He passed away in 2022. She loved her Red Hat friends, her dogs, fishing, skiing, but most of all her family.
She will be dearly missed by her children Steve (Andrea), Kelly (Tim Johnson); grandchildren Max & Keira; stepchildren Jeff (Bonnie), Kathy (Ed) Hansen and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry; stepdaughter Susan.
Private family service. Memorials preferred to the Animal Ark in Hastings, MN.
