Glen Harvey Roepke of Somerset WI., died peacefully in Woodbury MN., on September 28, 2024 at the age of 71.
Glen was born on June 19, 1953 in Stillwater, MN. to Arthur & Florence Roepke. He attended Somerset High School Class of 1972. He married Marlene K. Pittman and they were blessed with children Glen and Mary Beth, (they later divorced). Glen retired from Andersen Windows with 22 years of service.
Glen was passionate about 1959 GMC Pick Up and often indulged in buying parts to fix it. You could always find him tinkering on his trucks to fix them, listening to his favorite song “The Battle of The Green Beret”. He loved going to the Back to the 50’s car show at the State Fair Grounds and the Friday night car shows in North St Paul. He loved a good burn out! Glen was a very quiet soul. You could always see him wearing his Army jacket out and about no matter what the temperature was outside (He also took it to Heaven with him). Glen was a generous individual who loved his family. He also loved a good pancake breakfast and rice hotdish, along with his dogs Bonnie & Puppers.
Glen will remain forever in the hearts of his son Glen Arthur Roepke, his grandson’s Orion Roepke & Zayne Roepke, His Sister Velvet (Todd) Peterson, Nephew Jacob Peterson, uncle Richard Clayton, aunt Darlene Clayton, Jeanna (Chris) Gorka, their children Elli & Alex, and many other family members and friends.
