    • Just ran across Dorothy’s notice accidentally as I was looking up another announcement. So sorry to hear of her passing, but am deeply grateful for the insights she provided at the grief support groups, which I attended for a couple of years. She had a great outlook/attitude and a caring/listening ear, which I will never forget, as she was so supportive when I needed it most. Peace to her family and friends. I wish you comfort in time as you cherish good memories.

    • Mary, I’m sure you will miss your mom as I do mine. It’s a joy to know they are in Heaven. I suspect the 2 are having quite the gabfest catching up. In sympathy, Linda (Seim) and John Rutherford

    • Dear Auntie Dort

      I will miss you much
you are in a better place
Auntie Dort always had time for me..
She put me up when I was fresh out of the Navy,
      without any hesitation..
Auntie Dort gave me a job at the resort
& said, “Come and stay” (I think she picked me up at the Wisconsin dropoff too – a casino).
I will miss her tenderness & love
      Love forever Steve Jore

    • Sending my deepest sympathy. Your mom was one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met. She always had a smile on her face and was so friendly. When I first met you Lori and you introduced me to your mom, I felt like I knew her all of my life. You and your daughters have a lot of her qualities. She always had a joke or a story to share.
Sending prayers to you and all of the families.

    • Our prayers to those who are suffering with the loss of our Aunt Dort. Our memories are only of a smiling and loving and caring Aunt who always took time to listen and offer a kind word or laugh. We will miss our Aunt Dort, but we give thanks for her love of God and know she is in heaven. Prayers and blessings to her family.
