    • I so enjoyed working with Elvera at the Baldwin Hospital many years ago. She was the kindest, most patient and loving nurse to her patients! I was a young nurse and learned so much from her! She always had the sweetest smile. Thank you for the opportunity to know you and work with you❤️
      Love, Bonnie Berger

    • Aunt Vera! What a wonderful person you were whole life!! No one like you! You inspired, told stories, listened to us talk as children and advised and encouraged us. Lucky enough to share many, many car rides to SD — our favorite trips to visit the grandparents. We’d leave Beloit, pick you up in Baldwin and travel together. Loved listening to you visit with mom (your sister) and dad, Max. And, it’s no small thing that 60 some years later, I still remember you telling me I was wise. What that does for a kid! I could go on for a l o n g time, Aunt Vera. We love you so much and can never say in words, what a wonderful, caring, loving and supporting person you were in the world. We’ll see you one day again!

    • I am sorry for your loss. Margaret was my nurse when my first son was born. She was such a pleasant nurse. I went to school with Willard and Eva. Again so sorry for your loss.

    • Elvera was such a joy to have as a resident in our facility. She liked to hold our hands and listen to our conversations. I’ll always remember how much joy she had when Eva & Dawn brought snacks and beautiful flowers. The staff will too, because we were the recipients of their generosity. Elvera and Eva would make homemade caramels and share with us. They were so delicious! My sympathy to all of you and just know that I personally thank you for sharing your Mom with us.

    • Aunt Vera you will be missed. Thank you for all you did for us kids, Love you so much!
My Prayers are with all my cousins and family.
      RIP Aunt Vera
      Love, Lorinda 🌹
