    • Ruth made my wedding dress in white dotted Swiss for $30. We celebrate 50 years this year. Ruth was a kind, sweet woman. She gave me a cookbook as a wedding present. It is still one of my favorites. God rest her soul.

    • What a lovely woman. I have such fond memories of Ruth from my childhood. She cut my hair and gave me perms. She mended clothes for our family. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor to many. I think of her when I make raw fried potatoes. I had them at the Johnson home for the first time and thought they were delicious. Kind, gentle, caring, but firm. Blessings to all of her family.
