Alekazeke Denali Orme, age 16 of Hammond WI and known affectionately as “Zeke”, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Zeke was born May 10, 1999 in St. Croix Falls WI to parents Dale Rapp and Tracy VonDeLinde. Zeke was currently a sophomore at Saint Croix Central High School, where he sang with the choir, and competed with the wrestling team. Zeke was a gifted unicyclist, who developed his skills immensely over the last 6 years.

Zeke was also a familiar face at Ras’ on Main, where he worked part-time and enjoyed the friendships of many. Zeke was his own person. He embraced his individuality, and was the supportive friend who encouraged others to do the same in recognizing their own individuality. He embodied a strong heart and spirit, the courage to make others feel special, a sense of personal responsibility, and a great love for animals and nature. Zeke was known and loved by many, and will be missed for the fine qualities he brought to this world.

Zeke is survived by his father, Dale Rapp; mother, Tracy Orme; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Collins; paternal grandmother, Josie Haines; maternal grandfather, Robert VonDeLinde; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Daniel James Rapp.

A Memorial Service for Zeke will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Cross Lutheran Church, 1246 Cty Rd TT in Roberts WI. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm at the church. In the spirit of Zeke’s individuality, those attending his service and visitation are encouraged to ”come as you are””. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family. Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin WI. 715-684-3434
