Carol was born and raised in River Falls, and married and raised her children there.

She worked with the public often throughout her career, as her in-laws owned the Coachman Supper Club in Baldwin, WI. After the business was sold, she moved to Northfield, MN and started a new job as Tour Manager, traveling with many groups throughout the United States and Canada. When the Covid pandemic began, she retired.

She moved back to the River Falls area to be closer to family, and shortly thereafter, began her position at the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes in December 2022.
