Mary was the only daughter of Fred Vernon Langdon and Florence Valentine Hicks Langdon, born June 14th 1935.  Mary graduated from St. Louis Park High School and she was the highest ranking female in her class. She was also the editor of her High School newspaper ‘The Echo’.   Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1977 at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.  She later attended Travel Agent School at St. Paul Vo-Tech. She was a Travel agent for some years.

On March 17th, 1956, Mary was united in marriage to William Arthur Krueger, her devoted husband of 60 years.  They were blessed with two daughters, Katharine Calista and Robin Rebecca.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Robin, and her parents. She is survived by her husband and daughter Katharine Calista Krueger and her grandchildren, Lillian Calista Krueger and Garland Michael Port

Bill and Mary made homes in Shoreview, Falcon Heights, Hutchison, MN, Western Springs, Illinois, Arden Hills, MN, Washington D.C., Menominee and finally North Hudson, on the banks of the beautiful St. Croix. They so enjoyed Nature together. Watching eagles soaring overhead and also feeding all their other woodland visitors like deer, turkeys, black squirrels and numerous varieties of birds.

Bill and Mary also loved to travel and cruised around the world on several occasions. She always brought back a few trinkets that she displayed in her home.

Mary was a member of the Hudson’s Women’s’ Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, East Enders Club, Past President of the Hudson’s Garden Club, North Hudson Cable Board and she also served 6 years on the North Hudson Village Board.

She was fond of reading, flowers, cooking and collecting cookbooks, antique Majolica collecting, genealogy, travel and spending time with friends and family. A testament to her love of flowers are the continuing blooming of wild flowers on their property, from hundreds of naturalized daffodils in the spring to wild asters in the fall.

Mary was also known for her quick wit, which made it fun to be around her.
