Renée S. Glaubitz

Renée Sophie Glaubitz, age 93, of River Falls, WI, formerly of Stone Mountain Georgia, died September 23, 2020. Renée was born on February 2, 1927, in Mystic Connecticut to Francis and Hermine (Exner) Kahl. She grew up in Connecticut, graduating from Robert E. Fitch Senior High School in Mystic and received a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Yale. She was united in marriage to Kurt Glaubitz, on November 26, 1949 and the couple were blessed with a son, Mark, and daughter, Ilana.

She also played and taught at numerous colleges and universities. With her husband, the two taught at Earlham College in Richmond IN, Queens College and Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte NC.
