Jeff White

Jeff unfortunately passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.  He was a proud graduate of Johnson High School, proud of his accomplishments at 3M, and very proud of his marriage to Chris (Schwingle) and their sons, Adam and Brent.

Jeff loved spending time with his sons, sharing that life will be good if you always do your best and enjoy what you are doing.  He cherished his time with his granddaughter (Monkey) and their many special bonds.  Jeff enjoyed being outdoors and relished sharing his passions for organic gardening, growing flowers, fishing, hunting, cooking, and sports, especially his Minnesotan teams.  He believed in being honest, respectful, caring, giving, sharing, and did not like accolades.  He loved to laugh and make others laugh with his many jokes and pranks.  Jeff loved life, and we were blessed to have had him share ours.

Jeff will remain in the hearts and forever missed by his wife, Chris, sons (and daughters-in-law) A. J. (Meghan) and Whitey (Monaca), and granddaughter Skylar JoLee; his mother Doris White, brother Larry (Sue) White, sisters Sr. Sharon OFS and Pam (Mike) Klegin; his many furry grandkids, huge extended families, countless treasured friends, and wonderful neighbors.  Jeff was preceded by their infant daughter Angeliqué, dad Lawrence, father and mother-in-law E.J. and Lou Schwingle, and brothers-in-law Mike Schwingle and Steve Meyer.

The White House invites family, friends, and neighbors to dress casually and join us for a party (this would make Jeff happy) anytime from 3:00-6:00 on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, Hudson WI. 54016.  We plan on having food and beverages, feel free to bring a chair if you want to enjoy the outdoors.

Jeff believed kids should be happy, laugh a lot, and learn to fish.  Celebrating the birth of his granddaughter, he gave her two fishing rods, a tackle box, and a lifetime fishing license. If you were thinking of sharing a memorial on Jeff’s behalf, the family suggests two organizations:

Fishing Klinics for Kids, a small 501(c)(3) non-profit (mail donations to: FKFK, 3909 36th Street SE, Delano MN 55328; 763-291-5146)
Make-A -Wish Foundation (visit https://wish.org/ and click donate)
