Anne Dorothy Jugovich, age 90, resident of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully, surrounded by family Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Anne was born to parents John and Anna (Yanish) Lubich in Prescott, WI on January 28, 1931. She grew up in a busy household alongside 12 siblings. Anne graduated from Prescott High School and shortly after, began her lifelong career of helping others as a nurse’s aid.  Anne loved her work.  She was a caregiver for more than 50 years, taking care of her own family’s needs as well as many others.

Anne wed Michael Jugovich on August 30, 1958 and in their 57 years of marriage were blessed with 6 children. Anne loved spending time with her family as much as possible, especially at their cabin on Sturgeon Lake.  The only thing she loved more than being a mother was being a grandmother. One of her favorite activities was playing cards, particularly euchre or gin rummy. Anne was also very active in her Catholic Faith.  She was proud to serve on the Parish Council of Catholic Women at St. Isadore Church.

Anne will remain in the hearts of her children, Jerome (Damaris), Anthony (Meg), Anne (Tim) Kidd, Thomas (Terri), Joseph (Patti), and Timothy (Julia); grandchildren, Michael, Tammy, William, Shelly, Steven Gunderson, Thomas, Jeremiah Kidd, Katie Kidd, William, Caralynn, Tim Porter, James, Jeff, Joseph, Jessica, and Timothy; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Polly Lubich and Jean Lubich; many nieces and nephews; other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael; parents, John and Anna Lubich; and her 12 siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial for Anne will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Prescott, WI. Visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

Family would like to give special thanks to Lakeview Hospice for the wonderful care, and to neighbors, Bonnie and Jean, Diane and Dale for all they did for Anne at her home on Sturgeon Lake.
