Barbara Jean Wilson, age 74 of Ellsworth, WI died on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Ellsworth Health Services. Barb was born October 9, 1946 in St. Paul, MN to parents Charles and Nora (Hoffsteader) Fowler. Barb graduated from North St. Paul Senior High with the Class of 1964. Barb’s life was blessed with two daughters, Leanne and Lynette. On November 7, 1987 Barb was united in marriage to Ken Leslie Wilson and spent 34 loving years together.

Barb enjoyed going to garage sales and finding knickknacks, anything that had to do with Christmas was even better. “A Christmas Story” was one of Barb’s favorite movies she could watch it over and over without it getting old. After meeting and learning from Ken, fishing became one of her passions. For many years Barb and Ken ran a food shelf out of their garage with no profit at all other than the good feeling of knowing they were helping others in need. Barb was a Minnesota Vikings fan, and Ken a Green Bay Packers fan, but with love, they made it work. Barb will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband Ken Wilson; daughters, Leanne Babcock and Lynette Babcock; and sister, Cindy Anderson. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nora Fowler; and son, David.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 – 7:00pm Friday June 25, 2021 at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 North Grant St. Ellsworth, WI 54011.
