Beau William Wilkens age 36 of Prescott, died Sunday, January 2nd, 2022 at the U of M Hospital in Minneapolis. Beau was born on July 17, 1985 in Dickinson, North Dakota; the son of Wesley and Sheila (Sprenger) Wilkens. He was raised in North Dakota where he graduated from Parshall Braves High School. He continued his schooling at the Art Institute International Minneapolis where he received two bachelor’s degrees in graphic design and animation. On July 18, 2008, his life would be blessed with a beautiful bride, Rachael Lyn Kallstrom. The two were wed at Florian’s Gardens in Eau Claire. This would be furthered blessed with two adorable daughters Samantha and Rylee.
His family was his everything. He loved his girls. Wrestling on the floor or taking them to a Spider Man movie, he was all about the smiles. His love for Rachael was on so many levels. Together, they created a graphic novel, “ShadowLords”. Beau has the innate talent to sketch anything with amazing detail and character. He enjoyed creating comic prints and taking them to conventions to sell. He looked forward to going to the theater and watching the Marvel Movies; but Spiderman was his favorite. He also loved TMNT. He loved playing board games and playing video games. He loved animals and his favorite were tigers.
Beau was a faithful husband to Rachael; nurturing dad to Samantha and Rylee; devoted son to Wes and Sheila Wilkens; adored grandson to Bernice Sprenger; caring brother to Brandon (Kristine) Wilkens, Brett (Fiancee Katie) Wilkens; amazing son-in-law to David and Angela Kallstrom; loving brother-in-law to Jake (Natasha) Kallstrom, Hayley (Brian) Smith; fun uncle to Natalie, Adyson, Joseph, Caroline, Eli; and a friend you could count on to many others! His grandparents Albert Sprenger, John and Beverly Wilkens precede him in death.
A Celebration of Life for Beau Wilkens will be 4:30PM, Saturday January 8th at Ptaceks Old Event Center in Prescott. Visitation and viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family. Funeral services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Prescott.
