James “Jim” C. Mork

James “Jim” Clarence Mork, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2020 in Hudson, Wisconsin, surrounded by family. Jim was born on July 14th, 1941 in Beaver Township, Wisconsin to Clarence Palmer and Betsy E. Mork (nee Olson). Jim was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  He attended schools near the Baldwin area throughout his early years, until he graduated from Baldwin high school. On November 17th, 1962, in Baldwin, Wisconsin, Jim married the love of his life, Joyce Ann Mork (nee Foster).

Jim worked at 3M for most of his life, and found happiness in the company of his family. Jim made sure that every member of his family felt loved, and cherished the time spent with everyone. Jim loved to hunt and fish, and found solitude in the trips he would take in his Chevrolet truck listening to country music.  Other hobbies of Jim’s included bird watching, playing cribbage and solving Sudoku puzzles.  Jim was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan.

Jim will be remembered in the hearts of his wife, Joyce Ann Mork; his daughters, Joni (Thomas) Garvey and Julie (James) Phillips; grandchildren, Katie and Sarah Garvey and Jaren and Jack Phillips; siblings, Shirley (Warren) Bader, Carol (Jim) Bell, Bobby (Freda) Mork; grand dogs, Daisy, Storm, Zoey, Oliver, Sydney; and Breanna and Myndy of Lakeview Hospice, for their compassion and care they showed Jim and his entire family.
