Thomas Fred Rose Jr., age 44, of Vadnais Heights, MN, passed away on May 9, 2024 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Thomas was born November 12, 1979 to Thomas Sr. and Lisa Rose in Hudson, WI.

After graduating from Hudson High School, Thomas attended Pine Technical College in Pine City, MN for vocational training.

Thomas was a tough, resilient guy who never complained about anything. He loved life and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. His favorite place was outside, riding his bike for miles. Family bike rides could last 30 miles or more on a nice day. Animals brought Thomas great joy. He loved volunteering at the local cat sanctuary. When Thomas was younger, he enjoyed playing basketball, down-hill skiing, water skiing, and kayaking. He participated in track and field and enjoyed being active. He also loved the simple things in life such as family time watching a movie at the cabin. Thomas worked security for baseball games at the Saint Stadium and took pride in his work. He loved sports and cheering for his favorite team, the Packers. Thomas was one of the best family babysitters, always finding fun in wrestling or letting the kids cruise around on his chair.

Thomas is survived by his parents Thomas Sr. and Lisa Rose; brother Jeremy (Angela) Rose; nephews Jake (Hannah) Rose, Jason (Kaitlyn Anderson) Rose; niece Rain Taylor; great-nieces Mia Morden, Auna Rose, Lyla Rose; aunts and uncles Dave (Jean) Rose, John (Diane) Rose, Joe (Tammy) Rose, Cliff (Pam) Bakke, Sue (Bill) Smith, Judy (Mark Knost) Shafer; and many other cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Helen Bakke, John and Sally Rose.

A private Celebration of Life for Thomas will be held at a later date.
