Carole Ann Lawrence, age 73, of Spooner, WI, passed away unexpectedly due to heart complications on January 28, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center. Carole was born on June 29, 1948 in Muskegon, Michigan to parents Harley and Dorothy (Lohman) Barrs. She graduated from Montague High School and then went on to attend beauty school. Carole was a selfless person who cared for and appreciated everyone she met. Her silly personality and smile could brighten anyone’s day. Her favorite hobbies were her garden and watching the humming birds. She also loved her grandchildren dearly and loved to spend as much time with them as possible.

She will remain in the hearts of her loving husband Bob; children Sean (Jen) Barrs, Arthur Wittebort IV, Shannon (Matt) Marfell, Alan Lawrence, Melisa Lawrence; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers Ron (Karen) Barrs, Gene (Sande) Barrs, and John (Becky) Barrs. She is preceded in death by her father Harley Barrs and mother Dorothy Reed, son Kevin Lawrence, and brother Doug (Sondra) Dickover.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI.
