Carolyn Huberty Nelson, age 50, of Hudson, WI, passed away unexpectedly May 10, 2014 after a lengthy illness. A resident of Hudson since 2005, she grew up in Burnsville, MN and graduated from there in 1982. She worked for Cub Foods for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Huberty; brother, David; and infant brother, Stephen. Carolyn is survived by her mother, Joanna Huberty of Burnsville, MN; brother, Scott (Kerry) Huberty of Roberts, WI; sister, Lesli Pfannenstein of Farmington, MN; nieces and nephews: Aaron & Jillian Huberty, Meghan & Taylor Porter, Kyle & Elsie Huberty, Lauren Huberty and Ashley Kegler; as well as many relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held 1-4 PM Friday, May 23, 2014 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson. Private interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur, MN. Carolyn’s faith, courage and energy have been an inspiration to those that knew her.
