Evelyn Mae Jaeger passed away, surrounded by her children, on December 20, 2021. She was born on May 23, 1955 in Duluth, MN.

Throughout her life, Evie lived in Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, New Richmond, Roberts, and settled in River Falls, WI, with her two kitties, Max and Sam. She had a successful career as a Title Closer for over twenty years. Evie enjoyed attending play productions with friends, knitting, beadwork and DIY home renovation projects. She never missed a Packer game and her favorite place to be was in the stands of Lambeau Field with her friends and family.

Evie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a strong woman, determined to create a life of love and joy; her warm, compassionate spirit will carry on with those who knew her.

Evie is preceded in death by her Mother, Betty Brackenbury; her friend and loving Father of her children, Dan Jaeger.

She is survived in death by her Father, Bill Brackenbury; sister Irene (Pat); brother Robert (Patty); son Shannon (Teri); daughters Keena and Kelsie (Dave); grandsons Anthony, Jordon, Andrew (Keara), Michael, Kaden; granddaughters Aleasha (Ryan), Maria (Nick), Makena; and many friends and colleagues.

There will be a Celebration of Life on January 7th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel Ballroom (formerly Best Western) in River Falls, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter and consider adoption of an animal in need of a home.

    • Evie, was always a friend no matter what. This is one of the best traits to have and cherish. I know she passed this on to her children and grandchildren. Thanks for always being a friend to me!!

    • Evie was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. She was a great friend and Title Closer. She was smart, kind, loving and had a great smile and a contagious laugh. Over the years she has taken great care of many of my Buyers and Sellers. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids AND cats!! I will miss her terribly. My condolences to her beautiful family. Rest In Peace, Ev. I love you.

    • I am Evies oldest sister, I’m sadden she passed in the prime of her life. I wish her family well, I have and will miss her.

    • Worked on the real estate side and had known Evie for at least 15 years. She always had a smile for you. I very much enjoyed knowing her. My prayers for the family and peace to each of you knowing she is in no pain

    • Evie was an amazing friend and coworker. She had a great sense of humor and always had a smile. Evie was a hard worker, very unselfish and was always willing to help others. She cared about others and lived in a way that showed it. Her legacy will live on through the lives that she touched.

    • I used to work for Century 21 Premier Group and had for 11 years. Evie was a rock on the title side, worked with her many many times and really enjoyed her company. I am very saddened by this news and want to give my condolences to Evies family.
