Jean Beverly Anderson (nee Randall) age 91 of Hudson, WI passed away on January 24, 2024, at Christian community Home of Hudson.

Jean was born March 10, 1932 to John and Elsie (Pecore) Randall and grew up on a small farm in rural Dallas, WI, where she learned the value of hard work and the necessity of being frugal, attributes she would carry with her for her entire life. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Gordon, for 69 years before his passing in 2017. They started their life together in Chetek, Wi and were blessed with 3 sons and a daughter; the family moved to Hudson in 1965. When her children grew independent, Jean went to work for Erickson grocery working in their drug department. She left Erickson’s in the early 1980’s and went to work as an executive administrative support for Keller Construction. Jean was a devout Christian never missing a Sunday service and was active in her community, volunteering at CCH for over 30 years, she taught Sunday School, and mentored elementary school children. Jean was happiest when she was with family, especially her grandkids. Jean loved to bake and was known for her chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls.

Jean is survived by 3 sons Ron (Patty), Jeff (Pam), Brad (Robin); eight grandchildren Jenni, Erik, Ian, Christy, Jake, Kelsey, Ashley and Amanda; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; her beautiful, talented daughter Lynda; great-grandson Carter; her parents, brother, Wayne; sisters Lorraine and Charlotte; nieces Marlys and Sharon.

A special Thank you to the staff of CCH and the Lakeview Hospice Team for their wonderful care of Jean.

  2. We’re so sorry to hear this news. Jean was such a wonderful person. Jean and Gordy were our neighbors for many years and we will never forget how good they were to us.
When you are lucky enough to have Jean as your neighbor you will never forget her wonderful chocolate chip cookies! Gordy always told me he whould only eat them when they were warm out of the oven. They were good whenever you had them.
Sending thoughts and prayers to all of the Anderson family.

Love , Al , Kris, Nick, and Ali Larson

  3. We have wonderful memories of our Aunt Jean and her family with visits to Wisconsin. Our father and mother Wayne and Lennis loved and admired her along with her two nieces. We send our deep respect. Ruth Ann Stamp and Susan Rugg.
