June Olmstead, age 86 of Hammond, Wisconsin formerly of Oakdale, MN went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2024.

June Harriet was born June 7, 1937 in St. Paul the daughter of Walter & Constance Gundy. She was raised in St. Paul and graduated from Central High School. She will be remembered as everyone’s friend. June will be remembered as a dedicated mom and grandma. Her family was her world. She enjoyed ceramics and her bible study.

She was preceded in death by loving husband Robert, sister Patricia.

June is survived by children Lori (former son-in-law Richard), Tim (Kari), Ken (Annette), grandchildren Amber (Dan), Derek (Tya), Brooke, Brady, Alison, Abigail, Jake, Josh, Kaili; great-grandchildren Izzie, Jackson; sister Vivian (Dick) Nelson;brother-in-law Don (Polly) Olmstead; many nieces & nephews.

Celebration of Life 3pm Monday (4/29) with Memorial Gathering 2-3 PM at O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

  1. I know that we didn’t spend a whole lot of time together unfortunately but I can thank you for getting me to eat my greens! I remember the last time we had dinner you made some broccoli with cheese on it and was wonderful! I been eating it ever since and I was a very picky eater back then. So thanks to you I have been living a healthier me and became more open to try new things. So thank you for that I’ll never forget it. Will be missed by many and happy I got to share a small time we shared together! Jason Woodhouse
