Shirley May Fredrick Clements, age 82, of Bayport, MN, died peacefully on February 16, 2019 at her home.  

Shirley was born on July 14, 1936 in St. Paul, MN, to Wilburt and Theresa (DeRose) Pechuman. She attended Valley Creek Country School before graduating from Stillwater High School in 1954. After graduation she worked briefly for 3M. Shirley was united in marriage to Raymond Fredrick, Jr., and their marriage was blessed with four children. The family made their home in River Falls, WI, and Shirley was active in her role as a wife, mother, and homemaker. On March 1, 1994, Raymond passed away, and Shirley was later married to Charles “Chuck” Clements on November 13, 2004 in Stillwater. She enjoyed helping others, and volunteered for many years at the Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater. Shirley appreciated being with family and visiting with her grandchildren. She was fond of going shopping and having her friends over for lunch, or joining them at a restaurant. Shirley took great pride in a clean home, and adored the natural beauty of flowers and trees.

Shirley will remain in the heart of her husband, Charles; children, Dennis (Sylvia) Fredrick, Dianna (Chris) Kusilek, Julie (Mike) Cina; grandchildren, Claudia Fredrick, Ciro Fredrick, Brenda (José) Hernandez, Wesley (Meghan) Kusilek, Mariah (Craig) Dickey, Samuel Cina, Nicholas Cina, Christofer (Sierra) Hillison; great-grandchildren, Mariana and Daniela Cea, Afton and Archer Kusilek, Bentley, Raelynn and Demi Dickey, Kayden Hillison; sisters, Diane McLaughlin, and Carol (Dennis) Price; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Fredrick, Jr.; daughter, Gina (John) Hillison; siblings, Betty Mitchell, Barbara Conrad, and Donald Pechuman.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E. Division St., River Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church. Interment at Hazelwood Cemetery in Bayport, MN.
