Russell was born October 5, 1923 in Baldwin WI to parents Arthur and Irene (nee Hartwig) Lund. He was baptized and confirmed at the Evangelical Norwegian Lutheran Church in Baldwin. Their union would be blessed with three children, Art, Tom, and Barb. Russell was a family man, who cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. Russell was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church where he served on the church council. He was a lover of nature and planted all the trees on their land. Many will remember his affinity for antique cars, especially those of the early 1900’s.
